All three of us come out of the same high-frequency trading firm, where a system proves itself before it runs and reports on itself while it does. BUSAC is new; our experience is not.
Our Story
Our backgrounds span applied mathematics, algorithmic trading and risk, AI and robotics, forensic data analysis and enterprise technology deployment, across trading, banking, professional services, industry and global technology: environments where assumptions are challenged, controls matter and performance has to hold up in practice. The gap between what technology makes possible and what organisations actually capture keeps widening. We were built to close it.
When the current wave of AI arrived, we watched the same pattern repeat across private markets: impressive demonstrations, stalled pilots, unmeasured claims. Capital was flowing to technology, but value was not flowing back, because the missing discipline was never the model. It was the engineering, the deployment and the evidence.
So we built the firm we would have wanted across the table: one that treats technology as a capital allocation problem, engineers solutions into production and holds every claim to a measured standard. Technology-agnostic. Value-obsessed.
